Our philosophy is simple: we believe that anyone can learn to play the guitar, regardless of their age or skill level. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can develop your passion for music.

Nestled in Westcliff-on-Sea in the City of Southend, Essex, Six String Studio offer guitar tuition for all ages and abilities. From our pleasant garden studio we can explore and journey together as you learn and unlock all the joys the guitar has to offer. We provide one-to-one lessons and small group classes to help you improve your skills and achieve your goals. Whether you're a beginner or already on your musical journey, we have a guitar lesson to suit you and take you to the next level.

Our one-to-one lessons are perfect for those who want to learn at their own pace.
ONE-TO-ONE 30 MINUTES
This fun half an hour is ideal for younger learners with no previous playing experience. Learn some basic techniques to play some simple chords, simple melodies and some simple strumming patterns. With that we can learn some simple songs. Simples!
ONE-TO-ONE 60 MINUTES
Whether an absolute beginner or with some playing experience, we will tailor the lessons to your needs and help you achieve your guitar goals. Build upon previous learnings or add another layer of technique to your blossoming skillset! Combine technique and theory and turbocharge your progress!
SMALL GROUP OF 2
Team up with a pal to learn or jam together, perfect for practicing playing with others and honing skills. Play rhythm, then swap and play lead. Fun, fun, fun!
GUITAR RENTAL
If you don't have a guitar, don't worry! We offer guitar rental for our lessons, classes, and workshops.
